Why Do Customers Purchase From Certain Auto Dealers and Not Others?
David Bertoncini Autoway Toyota told me something I wanted to check. He said that “60% of shoppers buy only Toyota, no matter what.” Well, David, you were close. Toyota says the number actually 63%. These buyers only between different stores and buy Toyota does not consider other brands. JD Power and Associates said the main reason a customer buys a car from a dealer are: location, price and selection.
Why give these customers back to the store? Processing, price, selection and location.
